Villa Semeli is located in the beautiful small village Asteri, surrounded by olive groves and about 2,5 km far from the sandy beach of Sfakaki which is actually an “extension” of Rethymno Beach towards the east. Sfakaki itself is a suburb of Rethymno City, where you can find everything you need, tavernas, shops, supermarkets etc. The city of Rethymno, the most historic, most beautiful and most welcoming city of Crete, is a few kilometers west.In the village you will find a folklore museum and a traditional tavern with live music.The villa was built in 2014 using organic materials such as stone and wood. The construction corresponds to the modern statutory energy saving standards and preserves fully the traditional Cretan character and the local cultural and environmental standards.
